Rudi Garcia

“We were very sound in the defensive side of things. We should be able to be strong more often as we have been today. It had been a long time since I had seen such a pitch. I'm amazed… Those who came on were in the right frame of mind. They brought something to the team, that's what we ask of them. We knew that some players would get tired after the international break. You have to be careful with them so as not to injure them... When you have the opportunity, you take it and that's a good thing. You also need to know how to be clinical."

Jason Denayer

“This Angers side gave us problems. It’s good to be on the podium. It shows that we are on the right track and we must continue like this. It’s more of a message to ourselves. We have the capabilities to keep this up."

Maxence Caqueret

“It was very tough evening. It was difficult to play on such a pitch. We didn't give up and we scored the goal which gave us three points. There is a lot of progress to be made. We had a very average first half. We were able to raise our heads in second and be better. The club and the coach trust in the young players. It's up to us to do the work. I am also very happy for Yaya Soumaré who made his first squad."
