Bruno Guimarães : "Je me sens prêt à débuter"
After his Olympic title, Bruno Guimarães spoke at a press conference two days before the match against Angers. The full press conference can be found on OLPlay.

His fitness

I feel ready to start on Sunday. We are training well. The first two days were tough with the time difference. I can not wait to play again with the team. We will see if the coach wants me to play 90 minutes or not. I played six matches in 18 days (at the Olympics). I'm in good shape.

His belief in himself

I can play as a 6 or an 8. The most important thing is to play well. This victory at the Olympic Games gives me a lot of confidence. I had a very good competition. I played every minute with Brazil. Peter Bosz spoke to me a lot. I feel confident. I want to play at a very high level. Juninho and President Jean-Michel Aulas kept their word and let me go to Tokyo. I thank them and I will give everything for OL. I want to write my place in the history of this club by winning titles.

His relationship with Lucas Paquetá

"We need to have a great season, Lucas and I, to play at the World Cup with Brazil. He's my brother, we spend a lot of time together. I'm very happy with how he played last season and at the Copa America games. I missed him during the Olympics. We want to win something for OL together. I hope to be able to play with Brazil at the next international break.
