After OL–Bourg: A good first impression for the team's youngsters
Four out of five! Of the five goals scored by Bruno Guimaraes' teammates on Saturday night in the victory over Bourg-en-Bresse (5-1), four directly involved youngsters from the OL academy. Either in the finish or in the pass, these young Gones made the difference, seizing the chances offered to them by their new coach. At the end of the match, Peter Bosz did not fail to highlight their performances, saying "I like working with young players because they want to learn and have the capacity for improvement."

As is often the case during the offseason and while awaiting the return of the internationals, the next generation from the OL academy took the opportunity to find a place in the team alongside the senior players, including Samuel Bossiwa (17), who set up Moussa Dembélé's first goal, and Castello Lukeba (18, center back), who scored with an authoritative header from a corner. It was a superb way to celebrate their first professional contracts, signed ten days ago at Groupama Stadium. Bradley Barcola (18, forward), who signed a development contract last year, would play both roles: scoring after a clever bit of control and then providing an assist for Islam Slimani. There is no doubt that we will see these three again in the days to come!
