OL-Bourg: A new season, a new start (9 p.m. on OLTV and OLPlay)
After several weeks of well-deserved rest, OL are starting their new season with their first friendly match, against Bourg-en-Bresse in Bourgoin-Jallieu. The team's new coach, Dutchman Peter Bosz will also be making his debut. He will have at his disposal many players from the Academy, who will be able to benefit from playing time, following the late returns of many of the team's international players. A positive performance will be expected by the Lyon staff, who have been focusing on the match since the start of preseason started ten days ago.
Having played in National since 2018-2019, the Bressans struggled during the last season to retain their place in the country's third division. After a challenging first half of the season, FBBP parted ways with their coach in a bid to escape relegation. Installed in February, Alain Pochat did manage to save the Aindinois over the last few matches of the campaign. The former coach of Villefranche even managed to see the club finish 9th place in the standings. Bourg-en-Bresse, who will want to battle for a leading place in the league this season will be wanting to make a good impression on the eve of this new season.
