Press release: New staff for the first team
Appointed OL coach on May 29, Peter Bosz will be supported in his duties by three assistants:
Hendrie Krüzen, 56, has worked as an assistant on numerous occasions. A former professional midfielder who won Euro 1988 with the Netherlands, the Dutchman has worked alongside Peter Bosz at Almelo, Arnhem, Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Dortmund and Leverkusen.
Rob Maas, also an assistant coach with Peter Bosz at Arnhem and Leverkusen, will also accompany his compatriots. Aged 51, this former midfielder played more than 400 matches in his career including spells with PSV, Feyenoord, and Hertha Berlin before beginning work as a coach.
Finally Claudio Caçapa, at the club since January 2016, will also be a part of the technical staff. The former OL defender (2000-2007) has already worked as an assistant under Bruno Génésio, Sylvinho and Rudi Garcia, knows the club, how it works and its players perfectly well.
In the team's fitness department, Terry Peters, a 34-year-old Dutchman who has already worked with Peter Bosz in Arnhem and Leverkusen, will be in charge. He will be supported in his duties by Cédric Uras, a former OL player, and Alexandre Fahri, both of whom worked with the team last season.
For a goalkeeping coach, the club have decided to call on Rémy Vercoutre to replace Christophe Revel. A goalkeeper for OL for 11 seasons (113 matches), Rémy Vercoutre joined CF Montreal (MLS) in December 2018 to coach the goalkeepers for the Canadian club. It is therefore a homecoming for the man who notably won five French titles with OL.
Under the coordination of Doctor Franck Pelissier, the medical staff remains unchanged. Doctors Jean-Marc Laborderie and Yann Fournier will head a medical unit made up of four physiotherapists, who have been at the club for many years: manager Abdel Redissi (manager), Sylvain Rousseau, Jérémy Jacquemot and Johan Howse.
Yannick Pothier will remain in charge of the video unit, assisted by Anthony Michel and Geoffrey Garcia, promoted from the academy.
Julien Sokol will occupy the position of Team Manager, assisted by Guy Genet.
Finally, the stewards will be headed, as they have been for several seasons, by Jérôme Renaud, assisted by Lotfi Eladjabi and François Lopez.
All of the professional staff, who have signed on for two seasons, will resume work at the Groupama OL Training Center on Tuesday, June 29, ahead of the return of the players (excluding internationals) on Thursday, July 1.
