Rayan Cherki nommé pour le titre de Golden Boy 2021
Our young Lyonnais has been nominated for the 2021 Golden Boy, a distinction which rewards the best U-21 player in Europe this season.

Rayan Cherki, with four goals and four assists in all competitions this season, will try to succeed Erling Haaland, crowned last year at the expense of players like Alphonso Davies and Ansu Fati, as Europe's Golden Boy. Our 17-year-old attacker is in the running alongside other players in Ligue 1 as he attempts to win the 19th edition of the Golden Boy alongside players like Eduardo Camavinga (Rennes), Isaac Lihadji (Lille), Aimen Moueffek (Saint-Étienne), Khépren Thuram (OGC Nice),Adrien Truffert (Rennes) Jérémy Doku (Rennes), Luis Henrique (OM), Pietro Pellegri (AS Monaco), Xavi Simons (PSG) and El Bilal Touré (Reims). The list will be reduced by 20 players every month until it reaches 20 finalists on October 15. The winner will be honored in Turin at a ceremony at the end of autumn.
