Sélections : Retour sur les rencontres internationales de nos Lyonnaises
Several of Lyon's players have taken part in international matches with their respective national teams.

On the French side, our left back Sakina Karchaoui, Wendie Renard and Amel Majri all played 90 minutes in their 1-0 victory -- thanks to a Kenza Dali goal in the 30th minute -- against Germany.

The French U23 team also played their first match in the 3 Nations tournament against Sweden and Finland. Selma Bacha and Melvine Malard played 90 minutes in the 2-2 draw with Sweden. After being behind on the hour mark, the young French side came back into this match thanks to a brace from Emelyne Laurent. The players of Grégoire Sorin will play again Saturday against Finland and will try to earn their first victory in this tournament.

Ellie Carpenter played the entire game for Australia against Denmark. The Australians lost 3-2 after conceding three goals including two own goals very early in the match. Their two goals at the very end of the match could not change anything after having conceded. They will try to get back to winning ways on June 15 at 6:45 p.m. against Sweden to end their international spell on a good note.

Janice Cayman and Lola Gallardo also met in a match between Spain and Belgium -- our goalkeeper’s team came out on top against that of the right-back, 3-0.
