Monaco - OL : Les réactions de Jean-Michel Aulas et Juninho
President Jean-Michel Aulas and Sporting Director Juninho spoke a few minutes after Lyon's victory against AS Monaco. All of the reactions can be found on OLPLAY.

Jean-Michel Aulas

"When you're President, with experience, you have to acknowledge when there is disappointment. But we still had hope, and it is true that this match came at the right time. The guys were magnificent. There have talent but also an immense sense pride. We've had to recover from a lot of hard knocks. The sending off of Maxence Caqueret, at a time when we thought things were getting easier, was a huge obstacle. I would like to salute the winning coaching of Rudi Garcia. He had an extraordinary week supporting his team and finding the right system that was going to get the result, even though we had to make two changes."

"We made sure that all the structures were in place and also made sure that on the human side of things we were all there. Exceptionally, the club's leaders participated in a team talk. We made a historic move. We needed to tell the players that it was was still possible. They responded with a great match, I'm proud of them and of the club, which has rediscovered its roots in this match. We felt the whole club behind Rudi and the players. This match evokes the way the team played in the Champions League."

Juninho

"It's our story, our DNA. We never give up. Our elimination in the Coupe de France gave us a point to prove. We showed a lot of character tonight, that was ideal.. The players all defended together and attacked together. We dominated in the first 25 minutes. When Monaco opened the scoring, it made things a little more difficult. Even with ten against 11, though, we never gave up. It's really a great victory. We will take that and hope to build on it for the last three matches. We are very happy for the fans."

"The team showed character. We had to win the match by playing with ten against 11. The players did not give up and battled to the end. The substitutes contributed a lot. It is important that the players can make a difference when they come on. Their energy was magnificent. We will have to draw inspiration from this match.
