Mattia De Sciglio : « Ne pas faire l’erreur de paniquer »
Italian defender Mattia De Sciglio answered journalists' questions about the match against Lille on Sunday night. The entire press conference can be found on OLPlay.

Being eliminated from the Coupe de France

"It's too bad. We played a very good match, especially in the first half. We must forget the game that happened on Wednesday because we have the first of what will be five finals to play. We have to focus on Sunday's game. Moving quickly on helps digest things. You can move on by playing again in three days, this is better. To have dominated a team like Monaco is a good thing. We were a little too nervous. I'm not going to talk about the referee, even if certain things conditioned the outcome of the match. We could have done better too, as with the chance we didn't take. We have to improve on that."

Playing in a three-man defence

“I have to think more about defending. This is a position that I have already played it. It was not a problem for me. I like to change positions to improve my level of experience, to improve myself and to be able to play on the right, the left or in the middle."

The match against Lille

“Above all, we must have a lot of patience. Lille are a team that defend well, and they're very solid, with players who can break quickly. All this gives us a lot of motivation. We mustn't make the mistake of panicking. We will have 90 minutes to win the match. We have to be excited and motivated though. "

Being clinical in attack

“There are five matches left to play. Unfortunately, this is one of our issues; with concentration we can improve in this area."

His playing time

"I've entered the team's rotation, so I'm very happy. I've found continuity, which is what I wanted at the start of the season in coming here."

His future with OL

“I don't know what the club wants to do. I have said this several times already, I feel good here. I would like to stay to give myself the experience. Everything has been very positive. We'll see at the end of the season."
