Having joined OL in 2019 on a two season contract, Janice Cayman began her career in Belgium before heading to the United States and then playing in D1 for Juvisy and Montpellier.
Since her debut, the 32-year-old defender has played more than 300 matches, notably winning the National Women's Soccer League with the Western New York Flash in 2016, the Belgian women's Golden Shoe as the league's best player in 2017, as well as the treble with Olympique Lyonnais in 2020 (D1, Champions League, Coupe de France).
Olympique Lyonnais is very happy to be able to have two more seasons to rely upon the experience of Janice Cayman, who, a few days ago, equaled the record for the number of international caps with Belgium (111), making her one of the most important players in her country's history.
Janice Cayman's reaction:
"I am very happy and very proud to continue this great adventure with OL. I've won a few titles here already, and look forward to more in the next couple of years. We have six finals to play until the end of the French league season, and I hope to win that trophy once more."
