Challenge Cup : OL Reign lance sa saison face à Houston (4h)
Overnight from Friday to Saturday, OL Reign, the US franchise owned by OL, will return to competition with the new edition of the Challenge Cup against Houston.

The Challenge Cup is back, and OL Reign too! Before the start of the National Women’s Soccer League regular season, which kicks off in mid-May, the players of the American OL-owned franchise will be back on the road in the latest edition of this preseason tournament. They will face nine teams divided into two divisions in the East (North Carolina Courage, NJ Gotham FC, Orlando Pride, Racing Louisville FC and Washington Spirit) and West (Houston Dash, Kansas City, Portland Thorns, Chicago Red Stars and themselves). The winners of each conference will meet in the final, scheduled for May 8.

The first match will be a big one for OL Reign. The team, coached by Farid Benstiti, the former OL women's coach, will host the defending champions Houston Dash on Friday night at Cheney Stadium in Tacoma. To try to record a big first result in the Challenge Cup, OL Reign will have to do without the services of Jess Fishlock and Megan Rapinoe, who will be on international duty for the rest of the competition.

The matches will be available to stream on Twitch worldwide, and you can also follow how OL Reign perform on OLTV and OLPLAY.
