In their last qualifying match for the next Cup of Africa Nations, the Fennecs once again put on a show for their supporters.

After a 3-3 draw a few days ago against Zambia, Algeria again turned in a good offensive performance against Botswana on Monday. Our two Lyonnais, Islam Slimani and Djamel Benlamri once again started and Djamel Belmadi's men won 5-0. It was a perfect conclusion to a well-conducted qualification campaign. The reigning African champions thus finished first in their group, with a record of four wins and two draws in six matches.
