OL-PSG: The post-match reactions
"We did not exist for 60 minutes, at 4-0 it's very difficult to try to come back, we tried to make a fist of it by scoring two goals, and we will have to work to rectify things and what it is is necessary to start a good run of form again. If we had started the match the way we finished things would have gone differently, we have to play a full match -- we know we have the squad for it. We're going to have to move forward together to take as many points as possible. There are eight rounds left, all the cards are on the table, and we will try to put together good performances and we will see how things look come the end of the season. This is a disappointing result."
“We had a bad start to the match;, we tried things that didn't work. Now we have to think about the next matches. In the last 30 minutes we managed to score two goals, now it's the next match that counts. We had to play our game and try to put them under pressure. We still have every chance to succeed; we will try to win all our matches to try to get something out of the season."
“We are disappointed. We let Paris have the ball too much. We know we were playing a very good team, we will remember the two goals that we scored and think about the next match. After the first goal we were nervous and it from there things weren't as we expected. We are sorry to the supporters, but the fight continues and we have eight matches left to react."
“It was a challenging match, Paris were good but we didn't measure up to their level. We have to do a lot better to achieve our goals. We conceded too many goals, we will have to correct that. We have to focus on the last eight matches, we are only three points off the top two, we will hang in there as we know we are a big team and we are not going to let ourselves down. There are still direct confrontations, to be played, and a good finish to the league awaits us; I know that we are going to be able to rebound from this."
“We lacked a level of physical effort, and that’s not enough against a team like this, we weren't good enough in all facets of our play. At 4-1 then 4-2 we had maybe hoped to earn a point, but based on the first hour of play we did not deserve it. We are going to analyze all of this, we had to be at 100% and we weren't. The substitutes were important and allowed us to play a final half hour worthy of what we wanted to do. What matters now is hoping for our internationals to return in shape and then getting ready to win at Lens, who are a good team. We will remain ready to fight and motivated because nothing has been decided."
