Memphis : « On ne craint personne »
OL captain Memphis spoke at a press conference two days before the weekend's match against Paris Saint-Germain. Find the press conference in full on OLPlay.

Sunday's match

“It's a very important match of course, but the last matches were too. Obviously it's PSG, we will have to give everything on the pitch to win."

PSG

“We've seen them play in the Champions League, in the Coupe de France, but as far as we are concerned, we fear no one. It would be foolish of us to underestimate this team."

The win in the reverse fixture

“We left that in 2020, when we played there we did a very good job but Sunday it will be a new challenge; we will have to be ready."

The team's inconsistent form

“It's frustrating of course, but we're still in the race, that's the most important thing. We are trying to find solutions by being better in training and in matches. We know that playing against big teams pushes us to give the best of ourselves, we saw it in the Champions League last season, it will be important to bring this energy and this state of mind to Sunday's game. Our history must be an inspiration for us, we know that we can fight against the very best teams, and that gives us a boost mentally.”

OL's form for the run-in

"I try to be as efficient as possible every time I play; I always have done as much in the past. It's also important to note that you need the whole team. I always approach matches the same way, that's how I'm going to play this weekend, I don't want to get ahead of myself. "

His best season at the club

"I was also happy in 2018, and now the the team is different, and the manager too, and I had scored a lot of goals coming off the bench at the time. If Rudi Garcia had been there at the time I could have done even better because he has given me a lot of confidence and responsibility, he is the kind of coach who allows me to give the best of myself, he is a coach for whom I fight.”

His role against Paris

“Just to play the game; in big matches you have to sacrifice your way of playing a few times. We have to play as a team, and keep the ball at least as much as them. My role is not going to change -- I am going to fight, work hard and try to create opportunities."
