OM-OL: Lyon are kings of the road

With a defeat in Montpellier to open their travels this season, OL did not necessarily start off on the right foot on the road. Since this misstep, however Rudi Garcia's men have been unbeaten away from the Groupama Stadium, with a record of 8 wins and 4 draws. Among these victories, those at the Parc des Princes (0-1) and the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard (0-5) are the most important, but the victories in Nice, Metz or Strasbourg were just as important in what has been very good season for Memphis and his teammates. With 26 goals scored on their travels, OL are the team to have scored the most goals away from home this season.
For their part, OM have struggled to be consistent at home this season. The Phocéens have only just put an end to a run of three defeats at the Vélodrome thanks to a win against Nice in a rearranged match, but they are still vulnerable. In this season, with matches played behind closed doors, the vibrant atmosphere of the Vélodrome will therefore not be a factor for the Lyonnais, who will be determined to return home with three more points.
