Amandine Henry will stay at OL until 2023
An Olympique Lyonnais legend, Amandine Henry began her 13th season with the club last September, having made more than 450 appearances in her career, including 293 with OL (66 goals) and 93 with the French team.
A six-time winner of the Women's Champions League, the 31-year-old international midfielder has also won 12 French titles, seven Coupes de France and one Trophée des Championnes with OL, as well as a NWSL title in the USA, coming with the Portlands Thorns in 2017.
Olympique Lyonnais is delighted with the extension of Amandine Henry, who was recently selected to UEFA's team of the year alongside five other Lyonnais, and whose extension follows those of Ada Hergerberg and Griedge Mbock until 2024.
Amandine Henry's reaction
“I'm very happy to extend my contract with OL. Over the years, Lyon has become in a way like a second home! I still want to win titles here and pass my experience on to the younger players so that the club stays on top."
