After Nice–OL: KTM in turbo mode!
You have to go back to November 1 not to see one of their three names appear on the scoresheet. Almost two months ago, in the 1-1 draw in Lille, Tino Kadewere, Karl Toko Ekambi and Memphis all remained silent against a very solid defense on the part of Lille. But since then, "KTM" have not missed many opportunities to get among the goals, even if they are still playing with a level of hunger. The three attackers haven't since stopped raising their goal tallies, embarrassing the defenses that have tried in vain, to thwart their plans. Nice, on Saturday night, was the latest team to experience this.
"They take pleasure in playing well together". A few minutes after a veritable recital of attacking football by his team in Nice, Rudi Garcia admired the performance of his offensive trident, who were once again decisive with a goal for each of them, but were also always to looking for each other on the pitch. Tino Kadewere took the lead on the night, having scored, set up Karl Toko Ekambi and won the penalty that Memphis converted. Their overall performance was thus symbolic of their technical relationship, and of the bond that these three have been able to build in just a few weeks.
Very pleasant to watch work, the trio made a number of high-class combinations, on the evening, adding to their totals for the season in impressive fashion. To wit: Tino Kadewere scored his sixth goal of the season on his ninth shot on target and has been involved in eight goals in his last ten matches, Karl Toko Ekambi has been involved on eight goals in his last five games with four goals and as many assists, having been involved in 13 goals in total, Memphis has been involved in a goal 12 times since the start of the season, with four assists and eight goals, including three in the last four games ... When "KTM" is in full swing as they are at the moment, they are one of the most impressive attacking trios in Europe.
