Houssem Aouar : « Il faut continuer à être régulier »
On the eve of OL's trip to Nice Houssem Aouar spoke at a press conference. The entire conference can be found on OLTV and OLPlay.

The match against Brest

"It hasn't stopped us, we've been undefeated for a long time. With one detail the match changes, we still had a lot of shots. We suffered from a lack of efficiency, but we will quickly raise our heads, the group is more than motivated."

His current form

"Physically I had a lot of problems but now things are much better, with COVID-19 I couldn't play every game. Today I'm well, I'm trying to add something to the team, I'm surrounded by great players. The season is still long, I will do everything to continue our momentum. I had a little trouble letting go on the pitch, I feel a lot better, a lot fresher physically, the team is playing well so it's easier for me too."

The team's consistency

“We have to continue to be consistent, that has been our issue lately. For the moment we have a good level of consistency. Playing better gives us more chances to score. Our forwards are in great form. We are also very motivated and aware that we can do something big this season. We're OL so we obviously have big goals and we're not going to hide in order to go as far as possible."

The midfield

“It's important to win the battle in midfield and we're doing that quite a bit right now. There are the Brazilians, and also Maxence Caqueret who is a great player. It’s a quality group."

The mercato

"I don't think the transfer window can disrupt the team, we are professionals, we will approach this period as we have the whole season. We are motivated whether it is January or June. Personally, I don't pay attention to the transfer window, I try to improve and I am very motivated to bring as much as possible to the team. "

The match at Nice

“We are focused on what we have to do on the pitch. We go there to win of course. And we will watch Lille-Paris on Sunday evening. The fact that PSG have not opened up a big lead gives the season intrigue. It's good that there is suspense."

Amine Gouiri

“I knew he that was a very good player. He's thriving there. He deserves it. I will be happy to see him again on Saturday. He will have to be watched closely. They are a great team even if they have been in a bit of trouble. Amine has a lot of quality."
