Saki Kumagai : « On devra se battre, on est prêtes »
While she is gradually finding her playing rhythm again after having suffered a sprained ankle a few weeks ago, Saki Kumagai will undoubtedly be a player on whom Jean-Luc Vasseur can count on this Friday evening for the big match against PSG . The full interview can be found on OLPlay.

Saki, how are you feeling physically after that sprained ankle?

There was a difficult period physically and psychologically. Little by little, I've progressed to get back on the pitch well. I don't have too much pain anymore although I do feel my ankle every now and then.

Are you ready for the big match against PSG?

Yes of course. We have prepared well over the past two weeks. We can't wait to play this great game. The last few encounters weren't easy. We had to be mentally ready to play to win. We played together. The Parisiennes are physically strong, aggressive. These are things we know. We will have to fight. We're ready.

You scored the only goal in the last league game against PSG...

It’s a great memory. I've watched the video several times. There was a great atmosphere at Groupama Stadium with a lot of fans present. It was a tough match. We had played well, controlled the match. It’s a wonderful memory. I would like to score more goals in almost every match (smiles). I try to prepare well for all of the matches and I am happy when I can help my team. "
