NWSL: OL Reign close the year with a victory!
OL Reign ends its season on a very good note! For its final game of the Verizon Community Shield and therefore of the year, the American franchise of OL recorded its very first win in the competition after a draw and two losses. Farid Benstiti's players managed to do it by taking a win over Utah Royals FC overnight from Saturday to Sunday. The two attackers, Sofia Huerta, in the 24th minute, and then Leah Pruitt, five minutes after the interval, were the ones to find the net.

The team's oach since the start of this great adventure, Farid Benstiti obviously savored not only this great 2-0 victory but also the progress made. “I think it was a really good match. We played the same way we played against Portland in the last game, but the difference was we were more aggressive, more attacking. Even when we were defending, we were offensively-minded. When we were a little off balance, our four defenders were really well organized. The victory is indicative of the work we have done this week."
