Après OL - Nîmes (0-0) : les débuts de Sinaly Diomande
Lyon youngster Sinaly Diomande made a promising professional debut this Friday night against Nîmes (0-0).

By playing 34 minutes on the pitch of Groupama Stadium this Friday evening (40 touches, 1 shot), Sinaly Diomande made his debut in Ligue 1 and the professional game. Trained at the very famous Académie Jean-Marc Guillou in Djekanou and having arrived on the last day of last season's transfer window from Malian club Guidars FC, this young player immediately won over his coaches despite being only 19. One of the players most used by Gueïda Fofana in the reserves' 2019-2020 season (16 matches, 16 starts), he was then called upon by Rudi Garcia to train with the first team, playing in friendly matches against Port-Valais (12-0) and Gent (2-3) in July. The Ivorian defender has been convincing each time, and his substitute appearance here is a reward for his investment over many weeks. Nominally a central defender, he showed his versatility on the evening by replacing Léo Dubois at right back.
