Internationals : Friday's results

The French U-21 team remains in the running in the qualifying stages for Euro 2021. Thanks to their 2-0 victory in Georgia, Les Espoirs retain second place in the group and remain three small points behind the Swiss at the top. Starter and captain Jeff Reine-Adelaide was forced to give up his place after 25 minutes of play due to a calf issue. His Lyon teammate in midfield, Maxence Caqueret played the entire match while Melvin Bard came on in the 79th minute. Their next match is Monday, September 7 against Azerbaijan.

Even if he did not find the net, Memphis once again made a major contribution to the success of his team. OL's number 11 obviously started and played the 90 minutes in the 1-0 victory over Poland on the first day of the Nations League. The other Lyon player involved in this match, Kenny Tete, remained on the bench.
