UWCL : Retour sur les confrontations face au PSG cette saison
Ahead of Wednesday night's Women's Champions League semifinal, we take a look at the first three matches between the two teams this season.

Trophée des Championnes : OL - PSG 1-1, (4-3 penalties)

OL and PSG met for the first time this season on September 21 in Guingamp for the first Trophée des Championnes. Lyon got off  on the front foot and opened the scoring on the half-hour mark with a superb left-footed strike from Amel Majri (31 ’). But only 10 later, PSG striker Nadia Nadim took advantage of a mix-up between Sarah Bouhaddi and Amandine Henry to equalize (41’). The OL goalkeeper then took it upon herself to offer the victory to her teammates by stopping penalty kicks from Marie-Antoinette Katoto and Grace Geyoro.

D1 Arkema : OL - PSG 1-0

Lyon and Paris met on November 16, in the league, at Groupama Stadium. In front of 30,661 spectators, the players of Jean-Luc Vasseur, deprived of their suspended captain Wendie Renard, won by the smallest of the margins thanks to a goal from Saki Kumagai's header from a corner (49 ’). It was a win which allowed OL to stay ahead of PSG until the end of competition, and to win a 14th league title in a row.

Coupe de France : OL - PSG 0-0, (4-3 penalties)

The two teams faced each other again when competition resumed on August 9, in Auxerre, in the final of the Coupe de France. Despite Lyon's domination, no goal was scored in regular time and the two sides still had to decide the match on penalties. Once again, Sarah Bouhaddi was decisive in this exercise by saving Lea Khelifi's last attempt. OL could celebrate their 9th Coupe de France title, and their 30th title overall.
