President Jean-Michel AULAS and captain of the OL women's team, Wendie Renard, sent a message to supporters of OL Reign on ZOOM, on the occasion of the launch of the new jersey which will be worn during the NWSL Challenge 2020 Cup which will start this Saturday, June 27.

OL Reign team supporters, staff and Club Founder and President Bill Predmore met for a virtual event on Thursday to present the new jersey to be worn by OL Reign at NWSL's first match on Tuesday, June 30

Jean-Michel AULAS, Presidentm OL

It’s a real pleasure to be able to speak directly to you this evening as part of the launch of our team’s new jersey and the launch of our new adventure with OL Reign.

The arrival of OL Groupe at the head of your company will allow you to experience a great adventure. Olympique Lyonnais is a large European women's club which aims to become an international force with the OL Reign team. By partnering with Tony Parker, OL Groupe will bring a set of skills and technical assistance, which will allow our team to become even more so one of the great American teams in women's football, that is, in the United States, a country that is currently World Champion. The last victory was notably played at Groupama Stadium, during the 2019 Women's World Cup.

This new jersey is a strong symbol of what we wanted to convey with Bill Predmore and expresses the synergy of OL Groupe with OL Reign: their common colors and ambitions, and the lion which is the link between the two teams.

Wendie Renard, OL Women's captain

Today we are a big family with the union between the two clubs, OL Reign and OL Féminin. We are fortunate to have President Jean-Michel Aulas who has believed in the development of women's football for several years.

I wish you a very good season; allez OL! "
