Mercato : Melih Altikulac signs a development contract
A few weeks after his teammates Kevin Ousmane or Mathys Lefebvre, it's Melih Altikulac's turn to take a new step in his young career. The left-back, born in 2002, signed this Friday afternoon a development contract with OL for the next two seasons. Having played for RC Strasbourg and Lyon since the summer of 2017 after starting at the Alsatian club of Schiltigheim, Melih Altikulac has since confirmed the promise placed in him, following a successful 2019-20 season with the U19 team. His performances in the national league, in the Coupe de Gambardella and even in the Youth League even allowed him to be called up for the French U18 team.
The reaction of Melih Altikulac
I am very happy. I spent three years here. OL is the club of my heart, I say it clearly (smiles). It is a source of pride for me and for my family. My goals are to become a starter in National 2, to stay in the France team and to experience training with the first team. It would be good. I am a technically comfortable player, I have a good level of aggressiveness. Everyone calls me Juan Bernat. I have roughly the same profile.
