OLTV: The best of Kim Källström on OLNS

Your Lyon adventure
The day I signed with OL, my status changed completely. I was already in the national side, but everything changed. I started competing in the Champions League and competing against the best teams in Europe. It was an important turning point in my career. I lived in the same building as Tiago and Cris. It created connections. I was also close to Vercoutre, Réveillère, Govou ... everyone actually. It was our strength at the time. My departure? I understood that the club wanted me to leave and take another direction. But it was done in good faith. There was no problem, I understand. It was surely the time to leave after six seasons. I took it as a new adventure.
A regret at OL?
The day Gérard Houllier left the club. This episode was a turning point for OL but also for me. He recruited me. I really liked Gérard and his personality. He trusted me. He had given me time to adapt when I arrived but also responsibilities. When he left, it really was not my best day ... There are also our Champions League runs, especially during my first season. We had the team to go far. I am not someone who looks over their shoulder.
Your current projects
I am doing the same training as Juninho and Eric Abidal. It’s in the area of management. There is also Florent Malouda. It’s a bit difficult at the moment with coronavirus. It's very interesting. I hope to find a job in football eventually. I take a lot of pride in working in this area. I don't know yet about the future, we'll see where it takes me.
