Jeff Reine-Adélaïde : « Il faut faire face »
Severely injured in December, Jeff Reine-Adélaïde has continued his rehabilitation despite the current complicated context. The U-21 international spoke about this period of confinement and his progress in recovery.

Jeff, give us the latest…

Confinement is going well. It’s a very difficult period for all French people and for the whole world. We must face up to this and continue to respect the rules.

What was your reaction to the announcement of the postponement of the Olympic Games in Tokyo originally scheduled for this summer?

One of the major goals that I set for myself after my injury was the Olympics. It's a real chance for me that with this competition being postponed to be at 100% when it is contested.

Do you think you have a chance to play again this season?

It all depends on how things are going to unfold over the next few months, in particular with regard to the  my recovery but also to the resumption of the championship. We have to see how it will be managed. I hope that the world's health situation will improve, that the championship will resume and that I will be able to play again.

How are you spending your days at present?

I look after myself well. I continue my rehabilitation. I continue to do a lot of sports. I often play Playstation, Fifa with my friends. I am watching series, in particular the new season of Casa de Papel which has just been released.

Do you have a message for the fans?

I hope you are well, and that you are taking care of your loved ones. I'm in a hurry to be on the pitch, to have fun with you and hear you sing. I hope to see you soon.
