OL – PSG (CDF) : Le stade de France encore en ligne de mire (21h10 sur Eurosport 2 et France 2)
Olympique Lyonnais hosts Paris Saint-Germain this Wednesday at 9:10 pm in the semi-finals of the Coupe de France. It's as decisive match to reach a second cup final in as many competitions.

The context

The players of Rudi Garcia are currently on very good form. With three straight wins against Metz, Juventus and AS Saint-Etienne, OL have had a breath of fresh air in recent days. The win, a big  achievement, against the Italians (1-0) in the Champions League set the tone for an intense week. But the success against their historic rival from the Loire (2-0) on Sunday continued an exceptional series of matches which will have to continue against PSG on Wednesday. Lyon have been solid lately, having not conceded any goals in these last three matches, an element which is a real bonus  when added to the already generally good performances of the club.

The challenge

The objective of this match is simple: win and go for a second time to the Stade de France. This semi-final of the Coupe de France will offer no room for error since only a victory will allow Lyon to continue their great adventure. This is also the third match that will take place between the two teams this season. It's a match that will be a matter of revenge after the two defeats in the league against the capital club. But it is also an opportunity for Anthony Lopes and his teammates to stay on a high by recording a fourth victory in a row, including three in important matches.

The opponent

What to say about Paris Saint-Germain except that the Ile-de-France club is once again having a great season? Thomas Tuchel’s players are currently top in Ligue 1 Conforama with a 13-point lead over the second place and are therefore almost guaranteed to win the title at the end of the season. Also qualified in the two domestic cups (final of the Coupe de la Ligue against OL and semifinal of the Coupe de France against Lyon also), the team of Neymar and Mbappé did experience difficulties in the Round of 16 of the Champions League by losing two goals to one against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park. So a good match will have to take place between the two best French teams of the 21st century.
