OL - PSG : Un bilan favorable en Coupe de France
Olympique Lyonnais have played five times against Paris Saint-Germain in the Coupe de France for a positive record as the Rhone club have three wins against a draw and a defeat.

OL and PSG have faced each other five times in the legendary competition that is the Coupe de France. The first match took place in 1976 with a two-legged tie as part of the quarterfinals. During the first match, the two teams played to a draw (1-1) at the Parc des Princes but it was OL who qualified with a victory by two goals to zero before their fans at the Stade Gerland.

The third match played in this competition between the two institutions remains the most legendary for supporters of Olympique Lyonnais. Indeed, it was a final at the Stade de France in 2008 which pitted Lyon against the Parisians. It was an extremely close match which would end in an OL victory thanks to a goal by Sydney Govou, in extra time. It was a resounding performance which delivered the title to the club chaired by Jean-Michel Aulas.

Thereafter, OL will once again, outside, beat PSG (1-3) in the quarterfinal during the 2011/2012 season. It is also this same year that the players trained by Rémi Garde won the Coupe de France again thanks to a victory over Quevilly (0-1).

The only black spot in the great story against the Ile-de-France club in this competition is the elimination in the Round of 16 (3-0) in 2016. Three qualifications and one elimination against PSG in the Coupe de Frane. It will thus take inspiration from the past to try to do this again Wednesday and try to give the team, for the second time this season, an appointment at the Stade de France to the supporters.
