OL - ASSE : 52,772 in attendance and 1.14 million viewers for the derby
It was a great spectacle attended by the 52,772 supporters present at the 120th derby between Olympique Lyonnais and AS Saint-Etienne, a very nice crowd for a match won by two goals to zero by the players of Rudi Garcia. It is also a good run of form which continued for the Décines side since, four days ago, the Round of 16 of the Champions League was played in the same stadium and 57,889 fanswere also present at the meeting. A total of 110,661 people went to Groupama Stadium, all in the space of ... 4 days!
To complete this beautiful note, it was not less than 1.14 million spectators who were in front of Canal + for the derby last night, or 5% of the audience share. It was thus two matches which were very well attended but above all played in extraordinary atmospheres. The supporters would thus be well advised to reiterate their good performances of these last two matches this Wednesday against PSG in the Coupe de France in order to maximize the chances of qualification of Olympique Lyonnais for the final.
