OL - Juventus : Les réactions d'après-match des joueurs
After their victory in the Champions League Round of 16 against a big side in Juventus (1-0), OL's players stopped to speak to the microphone of OLTV to reflect on this incredible match.

Lucas Tousart

This goal is great! I'm very happy for the team. We needed to show things and please everyone at the stadium and all of Lyon's supporters. It's a great occasion, I'm very happy. We had a great first half just like what the coach asked for. We managed to resist their attacks in the second half. The most important thing is the victory which gives us a second leg with a big chance. We don't have time to be proud, it will be hard there but we have to believe in ourselves. We all had a big match together. In the second period we defended all together. Performances like that, we have to deliver them all the time. I am going to leave at the end of the season so it is very important to me to do things well for this club.

Jason Denayer

It was not an easy match but we were able to show character and stay strong at the back. We managed to score a goal in the first half which made our job easier. They were more numerous in attack and despite their pressing we showed a lot of solidarity. We can't make the difference individually, but we made it by playing together. It gives us a lot of confidence to win against such a team. We will have to have the same desire and the same conviction during the derby on Sunday to win.

Léo Dubois

I had calf cramps. It was a big match and it took someone really competent to play the end of the match they way Kenny Tete did. We are happy because we played the match we wanted to. We caused a lot of problems to their keeping the ball. We knew how to play long balls and on the dribble, we alternated well. We do not have a team of great experience, at first we were a little cautious but we gained confidence as we went along. We did something good tonight but it's only half time, we will have to do the same in the second leg.

Karl Toko Ekambi

We know that a difficult match awaited us but we followed the instructions. Nothing is over. We are not going to play there as a team that is going to settle for a draw. We will apply the coach's instructions and we will do everything to qualify. All French people know how important this derby is. We will quickly turn to focus on it and rest to be fresh for the match.

It’s a great victory tonight. The team was very strong here at home. I am very happy with the victory. But nothing is over. We will have to play a big match there to hope to qualify. We need to be focused and play very well in the second leg. I am happy with my performance, everything is fine for me. The derby has to be played, it has to be won and that is what we are going to do on Sunday.

Anthony Lopes

It’s a very good collective effort. We didn’t concede a goal at home, so it’s good. We are only at half-time of this double legged tie so we should not be too proud. We hope to play the same match there (in Turin). We must not stop and continue like this. The important thing is to play well and take our chances. When you have an OL playing at this level, we can do great things. Collectively we all did the job. I had a fairly quiet game; all the better, that means that the team front of me did their job. It’s really a collective victory. We want to go as far as possible in all competitions but we should not be too proud because they have experienced players. Sunday there’s an important match, we won’t have time to dwell on this. We are now focused on the derby. We have to recover and get back to work. We must use this experience which can be useful for the rest of our season.
