OL-Strasbourg : Les réactions d'après-match
After the draw at home against Strasbourg (1-1), Lyon's players and manager spoke to OLTV to express their opinion on the match.

Anthony Lopes

"It is too insufficient, how we played today. We found a way to concede an equalizer at home. We cannot hope to reach the podium by continuing like this. We do not seize enough chances. We have to get back to work quickly because everything we are doing is insufficient. We have to have more of a killer instinct and bring more movement. We have to prepare for the match against Metz on Friday. We shouldn't think about the match against Juventus, but move quickly to take three points in Metz because there is an immediacy. "

Maxence Caqueret

"I think we had done the hardest by scoring, we looked to be in good shape. But after we got caught on the counter, they scored an equalizer. Things did not change from then, and we were very disappointed not to leave with three points. There was a mix-up on the goal that we conceded. It was very disappointing because we had the match in hand. Six shots and not all of them on target, it's not enough, we have to take more risks by playing the ball forward more. This is a measure of progression for the weeks to come. I think that we are not dangerous enough at home, we should let ourselves go more, have more collective movement but that's not what we're doing. We have to correct that. We don't always do our defensive jobs, either. We have to play more. We lack a clarity and a level of control. When we are the Olympique Lyonnais, we have to be better than the opposition. We have some big fixtures coming up. We are going to take the matches one by one. My hand is getting better better, it’s nothing very serious. "

Rudi Garcia

"It was insufficient. We were lacking in a lot of areas. We failed to respond to their equalizing goal. We had already done the hardest thing against a solid and well-organized team. We saw a Strasbourg player make up 70 meters before putting a shot on target; Anthony Lopes had nothing to do, however. At the end of the match, however, we were under fire with two great chances for Strasbourg. What is positive is that we focused well, but we had too few efforts on goal at home. But the offensive interplay had too much waste technically. We had possession but it was too sterile. There are tired players, having played a big Cup match on Wednesday. It’s normal then that there’s fatigue on Sunday. Before the match against Juventus, we will have to focus on Metz and taking three points. "
