ASSE – OL (U17) : Faire régner la suprématie lyonnaise (à 14h30 sur OLTV/OL Play)
Recent winners over Montluçon (12-0), Lyon's U17 side go to Saint-Etienne for a derby that promises to be exciting.

Lyon's U17 side are in great shape thanks in particular to a 12-0 victory over Montluçon two weeks ago. Currently leader of the U17 National Championship, the youngsters, trained by Amaury Barlet and Jérémie Bréchet, are now set to travel to OL' s historic rival. It’s a game apart as always; over time the rivalry has become the most important match of the year in any category.

Olympique Lyonnais is currently first in the standings, 13 points ahead of Olympique Valence in second place. The Stéphanois are 6th in the table, but already 17 points behind Les Gones. The reverse fixture at Décines offered fans a spectacular show as Lyon won 5-1 against the Loire club.

Thus a victory would not only allow Lyon to get a little closer to the title of champion but above all to cement their regional supremacy, since this match will serve as a prelude to the Ligue 1 derby which will also take place in a short time, as OL will host ASSE on March 1 at Groupama Stadium.
