Arrivée de Camilo à l'OL jusqu'en 2024
We're pleased to announce the signing of Camilo Reijers de Oliveira for €2 million, with a 20 per cent sell-on clause. The Brazilian midfielder has signed a four-and-a-half year contract at OL, running until 30 June 2024.

Camilo, 20, played 30 games in the Brazilian Serie B in 2019, scoring twice. He was offered a move to Juninho's OL by 1994 World Cup champion Jorginho, and has been the subject of rewarding supervision.

His signature concludes OL's business in the January transfer window, which has also included:

• Karl Toko Ekambi on loan from Villarreal for a fee of €4m, with an option to make the move permanent for €11.5m, as well as a maximum of a further €4m in incentives and a 15 per cent sell-on clause (or 50 per cent if he is sold again before 15 September 2020).

• Tino Kadewere (€12m + a maximum of a further €2m in incentives, with a 15 per cent sell-on clause) who will join OL on 1 July for four years, following a loan to Le Havre until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

• Bruno Guimaraes from Athlético Paranaense on a four-and-a-half-year contract until 30 June 2024 (€20m + a 20 per cent sell-on clause).

• In terms of outgoings, Lucas Tousart has signed for Hertha Berlin for €25m but will remain at OL on loan until the end of the current campaign. Zachary Brault Guillard has joined Montreal Impact for €50k and with a 50 per cent sell-on clause.

OL also attempted to sign an additional central defender on loan, but the technical specifications of a new recruit were not met. Rudi Garcia, Juninho and Florian Maurice have collectively decided to rely on two young players, Pierre Kalulu and Sinaly Diomandé.

Camilo's reaction

"It's a world-class team, playing in competitions that I've always dreamed of playing in, like the Champions League. I know my choice is the right one and I'm very happy about it. OL is a great club, a European club where I've always dreamed of playing. I'm very happy to be here. I'm a very technical player with a lot of strength in my game. I like to go forward and I like to get score goals, that's very important. Of course I'm really looking forward to meeting all of my new team-mates and training with them. The first thing that jumped out at me when I drove in with Florian Maurice was the stadium. I was impressed by the whole structure and the size of the club. It's really beautiful. I'm very happy to be here. You can count on me. I'm going to give my best for this jersey and for this club. Allez l'OL!"

Juninho, Sporting Director

"This player caught my eye. He has the same profile as Lucas Tousart. He's a young player. He has tremendous physical ability and speed. He'll have to adapt. He'll be able to play with the reserves, too. You have to make bets and take risks. I hope that all this will be positive and that he will be satisfactory on the field."
