Against Bordeaux (0-0), OL dropped points for the second time this season after a first draw against Dijon (0-0). It was a scenario that is not to the taste of the women's team, who wanted to rectify the situation against Reims. But it was without their in-form striker Ada Hegerberg that the team took the pitch today.

In the Norwegian’s absence, Amel Majri led the line and wasted no time in taking on a scoring role. In the 11th minute, the number 7 opened the scoring with good service from Delphine Cascarino (1-0, 11 ’). Totally dominating the match, the hosts were frustrated by an inspired American 'keeper. Playing like a real wall, the Reims goalie saved numerous shots, often from Amel Majri.

After a frustrating first period, the players of Jean-Luc Vasseur came back strong and found the key again. Amel Majri scored a second goal, she was soon joined by Nikita Parris and Wendie Renard on the scoreboard. At the end of the match, Jessica Silva also found the back of the net to bring the score to 5-0, a few minutes after coming on. With this goal, the Brazilian opened her tally in the league.

After the disappointment in Bordeaux, the protégés of Jean-Michel Aulas resumed their march forward and kept Paris-Saint-Germain six points back. Despite the numerous absentees, OL have shown character and confirmed the group's solidity.

Jean-Luc Vasseur :

"After the first half we were only ahead 1-0. I'm happy with the result. We were keen to find our way back to scoring and playing with enthusiasm. This allows us to plan ahead for the next matches. Alex Greenwood had a good game, she dominated playing in the center of defense. You have to be able to offer different tactical formulas. There are quite a few players missing. You have to reinvent yourself every time and keep the same level of efficiency. "

Selma Bacha :

"It's a great evening. Last week we missed playing our game and today went well. At the start of the match, I missed my crosses. My goal was to have an assist and I succeeded. We are happy for Jessica Silva. "

Delphine Cascarino :

“After Bordeaux we had to do much better and we succeeded. We put our foot on the ball. It was important to score at the start. The other goals came later, but we weren't worried. We have several injuries, but we have a solid bench. Whatever happens, we give 100% to be at the best level. "
