Tino Kadewere joins OL until 2024
At just 24, Tino Kadewere has signed a 4-and-a-half-year contract with OL, until June 30, 2024, but will remain with AC Le Havre until the end of the 2019/2020 season on loan.
Having arrived in Le Havre in the summer of 2018 from Djurgarden, with whom he won the Swedish Cup, the Zimbabwea international striker (8 caps) has played 46 Ligue 2 games and scored 24 goals, including 18 in the current season. Voted player of the year in Ligue 2 in 2019 by France Football, Tino Kadewere is currently top scorer and won the title of player of the month last August.
After the arrival of Cameroonian international Karl Toko Ekambi from Villarreal, Olympique Lyonnais confirms its ambitions for the future with the signing of a new player with great potential.
Florian Maurice, head of recruitment: “We have been following Tino for a while now. He has an exceptional first part of the season with Le Havre AC. He’s a top striker, very focused on goal and one who works hard for the team. He can also play behind the attacker or in a two. On top of that, he has a great mindset. "
