Martin Terrier : « Les joueurs veulent remporter des trophées »
Martin Terrier appeared at a press conference to discuss the match against Lille in the semifinals of the Coupe de la Ligue. The entire conference can be found on OL Play.

The semifinal against Lille

“The current dynamic helps us, it's now four wins in four games. We have scored a lot of goals, it's good for the attackers. We have a big match tomorrow, now we a trip to the Stade de France at stake. The group works well together; it shows on the pitch. I hope to play tomorrow as it is with all games, especially since we are playing against my old club, and it is always special to play in a semi-final. I still have contact with members of the Lille staff in particular. The last time Lille came here we lost so there's also a measure of revenge to take. There are no assumptions that can be made as it is a knockout match. I feel a lot of desire in the group. The supporters are waiting for this meeting, we will need them to get the final. We are doing well at the moment, including in the Coupe de France. The Coupe de la Ligue is the fastest path to a trophy, tomorrow is a semi-inal so you have to go for it and win. Players want to win trophies. "

The team's current situation

"I don't mind being fragile if we are winning matches, I'm in favor of the beautiful game but you have to win above all. Winning matches in a row gives me confidence. I'm scoring right now; I think it will continue in the second half of the season. The club wants to compensate for the absences of the injured players. I trust my qualities so it will come for me. I don’t care what’s going on in the press, I’m only dealing with the pitch. After the match against Bordeaux, there was a reconciliation of the supporters with Marcelo. There is a change taking place, we all want to put the club where it belongs. It’s very nice to play with players like that. As soon as we have the opportunity to play as a team, we do it and it works well; so that's what we did in Nantes. "

Rayan Cherki and Amine Gouiri

“I am impressed by Rayan Cherki. I'm happy for him. We get along well even off the pitch. He is very attentive so it allows him to progress. Same for Amine; he is a very good player so it will come for him too even if he has not had the opportunity yet to really show what he is capable of. "
