Nantes - OL (CDF) : The post-match reactions

The players and manager against Nantes spoke to the microphone of OLTV after the win over Nantes; find all of their reactions on OLPLAY.

Anthony Lopes

"Yes, it was a close affair until the end, we still have a lot of work to do. The exit of Dembélé, who holds the ball up well in leading the line, and allowed us to play higher up the pitch, hurt us. Now we are in the Round of 16, we have to be positive. We conceded 3 goals and that I cannot accept. We have to improve on that side of things. We have to focus on Lille now, we have to go to the Stade de France to try to win the Coupe de la Ligue. "

Rudi Garcia

"I'm not relieved but satisfied. We had a great first half. The fourth goal killed the match. We can bemoan the last two goals conceded but we keep the qualification in mind above all. It must have been a great match to watch for the spectators. I had rotated the team to rest a few players. It's been four wins in a row in 2020, we want to make it five against Lille on Tuesday. We will have a good rest to better understand the demands that are coming. This is a difficult match ahead of us, Lille will be a hard team to beat. We will have to give everything for 95 minutes. The more full the Groupama Stadium, the more power behind us we will have to reach the final of the Coupe de la Ligue at the Stade de France. "

Rayan Cherki

"In the first period we were very good collectively. We went too far at the end but we are learning together, we clenched our teeth and qualification is a pleasure. It was thanks to my teammates that I made this match. We shouldn't focus on my statistics, it's the whole team. We have to take care of the fixtures that are coming now. We were aiming this year to be in the running in all four competitions. Tuesday we will play aggressively to go to the Stade de France and win a title. "

Martin Terrier

"It’s a very good thing to have scored two goals quickly. We sank towards the end it’s not anything here, it was already the case last year but we have to get past that to keep a good state of mind. I lacked the finishing on my chance which hit the post at the start of the match but I persevered and it paid off. Against Lille it will be a matter revenge since we lost against them at home in the league. The club hasn't played a final for a long time so it would be great to bring all the supporters back to Stade de France. "
