This Tuesday, January 21 at 9:10 p.m. at Groupama Stadium, OL will play against Lille the sixth Coupe de la Ligue semifinal in its history. With five out of five qualifications in their history, the club of Jean-Michel Aulas has always been ready to punch its ticket for the final of a competition which in its final season. Here's a look back on the fourth, Lorient-OL during the 2011-12 season.

2011-12 : Lorient – OL 2-4 ap

A real Cup match! While Lyon were almost knocked out, behind two goals behind ten minutes from time against Lorient, OL went inside themselves to snatch an unexpected trip to extra time thanks to goals from Alexandre Lacazette and Jimmy Briand. The additional thirty minutes were just toughly fought, but it was Lyon who would go to the Stade de France with goals by Bafétimbi Gomis and "Alex". In the final, they lost to OM in overtime but OL would still manage to lift their first trophy in three years with a French Cup.
