Olympique Lyonnais denounces the damage caused by certain supporters in the visitor parking lot at the Marcel Verchère stadium in Bourg-en-Bresse, on Saturday, as part of the Round of 64 of the Coupe de France.

These incidents do not reflect the spirit of the Coupe de France or the excellent relationship between the two clubs since 2016 within the Sport Excellence network. Several Lyon players have been loaned to the Bressan club in recent seasons, such as Romain Del Castillo, Christopher Martins Pereira, Gédéon Kalulu and more recently Théo Ndicka (on loan until June 2020).

Olympique Lyonnais confirms that it will file a complaint against the authors of this damage and that it will bear the costs of restoration and that, moreover, within the framework of the partnership with amateur football which has always enabled it have a boys and girls academy, the club is proud to have donated all of its share of the proceeds to the Bourg-en-Bresse club, which welcomed nearly 8,000 spectators.
