Nîmes - OL : les réactions d'après-match
Lyon's players and manager spoke to OLTV after the match against Nîmes. All their reactions can be found in full on OL Play.

Rudi Garcia

"It's a big win away from home even if it came with a numerical advantage. We played a smart match. We did not fall into the trap of an overheated atmosphere. Nîmes were feeding on the explosive mood. It was necessary at all costs to score a second goal, it lifted the pressure on the team and then we were able to score two more. We had plenty of time to score. I'm happy for Melvin Bard. It is a second young player who has made his bow in two matches, coming after Maxence Caqueret. When I arrived I said there was quality at the training center and that I would not hesitate to call on them. I do what I say. Having them work with professional players makes them progress. Now we can think about Tuesday's game. I hope that Rafael's injury is not too bad. "

"I took a knock on the ankle. I hope it will be OK but I am confident. I will undergo exams. It feels good to get back to winning. We knew it would be a complicated match for them after the 6-0 against Bordeaux in the week. We played well tonight. I am very happy to have been back on the pitch. I am here to play football. There is a very important game on Tuesday so we have to rest and be ready to play in front of our supporters. "

Anthony Lopes

"It feels good to win, especially before a big game. The essential thing was to start the match well. We knew that we should not press to open the scoring, that we would have more space and chances. We took the three points and that's the main thing. Young people respond when called upon; there is a lot of potential here. Now that the match against Nimes is over, we can focus on Leipzig. We will have to win at home. "

Maxence Caqueret

"I'm surrounded by good players so it's easy. They helped me get into the game. There was a big atmosphere in this stadium. Nimes had the desire to win but we knew how to answer the call. We knew it would be difficult, but we kept our mastery of the game; I felt good. The most important thing is to take the three points and to have scored four goals. I know I'm not as strong as some, but that does not stop me from repeating my efforts and fighting on the pitch. I work every day to improve myself. It's good to have so many players who have trained at the club. I'm happy for Melvin. "

Melvin Bard

"I feel very proud to have played tonight. It was my goal at the beginning of the year. We will work to continue this form. I was already happy to be in the squad. Unfortunately Rafael was injured so I was sent to warm up. The coach told me I was going on so I focused. The first quarter of an hour was stressful, but the team gave me confidence and it went well. I have worked hard to get there so I'm proud. "
