U19 NAT : Désillusion à l'ASPTT DIJON (2-0)
OL were in action on the pitch of ASPTT Dijon, on the 12th matchday of the U19 championship, a meeting that ended in a 2-0 defeat for the Lyonnais.
OL went to Dijon full of confidence since they remained on four victories in the last four games, having delivered convincing displays, including last week at home against Puy Foot 43 (4-1). On the other side, ASPTT Dijon were last in the group with only one victory from their ten previous matches and boasting the worst attack in the championship. Dijon really struggled to survive in this first half of the season. However, one must remain vigilant because during the 8th matchday, Dijon went away to beat Auxerre,  currently second behind Olympique Lyonnais.

OL had everything in place to record another strong result this afternoon in Dijon, but ASPTT had the same ingredients as against Auxerre and it paid off. Lyon, helpless, lost 2 goals to 0 and saw their lead at the top of the table slip. The players of Éric Hely and Pierre Chavrondier will have to forget this disappointment and quickly get back on track.

And what better way to quickly move on, than a big clash against Auxerre next week. An Auxerre side who, in case of a victory tomorrow against DFCO, could take control of first place.
