Ballon d'Or : 6 players from the women's team nominated
OL is once again the club most represented in the race for France Football's Ballon d'Or. The list of 20 players shortlisted for the prestigious distinction was unveiled Monday night. Six players from the women's team have been included: Ada Hegerberg, the first Women's Golden Ball winner in history, is accompanied by her French teammates Sarah Bouhaddi, Wendie Renard and Amandine Henry. Germany's Dzsenifer Marozsan and England's Lucy Bronze are also on the list.
Winner of D1 Arkema for the 13th time in a row, 8-times champion of the Coupe de France, and a 6th Women's Champions League last season, OL was also the most represented club at the last World Cup organized in France.
