RB Leipzig – OL : voyage vers l’inconnu
The Lyonnais flew on Tuesday morning to Leipzig, their first trip to the east side of Germany.

An impressive Lyon delegation arrived at Terminal 2 at Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport on Tuesday morning at around 10am. Having arrived before everyone else, the young members of the Youth League squad, surrounded by their coaches Éric Hély and Pierre Chavrondier as well as members of their staff, patiently waited for the arrival of the professional group to travel together in a milestone in the history of their club.

For the first time since its founding, OL discovered the east side of Germany by landing in Leipzig late in the morning, after an 1 hour and 40 minute flight and despite a slight delay, swapping the shining sun and the gentle heat of France at dawn, for cloudier weather and a powerful wind falling from the gray sky of Saxony.

With hardly time to get off the plane, Les Gones quickly took refuge in the comfort of their hotel. After a good snack, they rested a little before heading to the Red Bull Arena, for the pros, and the RB Akademie for the Youth League. There, the two teams will participate in their last training session on the eve of facing their counterparts in RasenBallsport, for two unprecedented confrontations in which they will try to make their mark.
