OL Feminin's coach gave his verdict following Sunday's 1-0 win over the North Carolina Courage in the Women's International Champions Cup final.
"I am extremely proud of my players. We were not very advanced in our preparation, it was only our second game. We had to raise our level to the maximum to beat this team. It's a big team, which this time was complete compared to last year. We're very proud to have won this title. The finals are made to be won and this is the case tonight. I'm very happy for the girls because they worked hard. I'm also happy for the technical staff because a victory is not only the result of the work of the players or the coach, but also the staff."
"We had a great time here with the staff and the other players. It allowed us to get to know each other because there were a lot of new signings this summer. This victory concludes a beautiful week of training and we leave with the trophy."
