OL get WICC revenge, take home first trophy of 2019/20

All that was missing in this high-intensity affair in the North Carolina heat was the final touch. But Dzsenifer Marozsán took care of that in the 57' with a stunning, first-time curler that was a worthy goal of this - or any - final. As expected, the Courage wasted little time in searching for the equalizer, but Bouhaddi was unbeatable in goal and stopped everything that came her way. In the end, Marozsan's stunner was enough for OL to exact revenge for last year and take home their first trophy of 2019/20. A very good sign for what's to come this season.

It was very important for us to win this trophy because we lost the final last season. It was also important to gain confidence ahead of the start of the championship next week. The atmosphere was fantastic during this tournament.
