OL's Malard scores again as France reach Women's Under-19 EURO final
The Bleuettes are still in the race to conquer a fifth continental title. After wins in 2003, 2010, 2013 and 2016, the squad coached by Gilles Eyquem has qualified for a tenth final in 22 editions by eliminating two-time defending champion tournament favorites Spain with a 3-1 extra time semifinal victory.
Andit was done with the help of OL's Melvine Malard, who broke the scoreless deadlock in extra time with her fourth goal at the Euros, making her the tournament's top scorer so far. Vicky Becho added the other two as France get ready to face Germany in Sunday's final.
