With the newly arrived Jean-Luc Vasseur at the helm, last season's Treble winners began preparations for the 2019/20 season - minus several internationals who played in the recent FIFA Women's World Cup.

A little over a week after the World Cup final at Groupama Stadium, OL Féminin's preseason got underway on Monday. While many who participated in the tournament won't report for duty for another week or two, others were back earlier than expected. That's the case with Delphine Cascarino, who is undergoing treatment, while Sarah Bouhaddi and Dzsenifer Marozsan are also back in the fold. Meanwhile, youth players Azzaro, Bacha, Malard, and Revelli are at the Euro U19 championship.

Norway's Ada Hegerberg was among those present at Monday's session and was already raring to go: "I can't wait to start a new season and get started. I'm happy to be back in the group, it's good to come back home."

Players immediately got to work with physical trainer Romain Segui, who arrives from the U19 men's team. The first exercises consisted of riding stationary bikes before hitting the pitch at 17:00 for the first training session under new coach Jean-Luc Vasseur, and his assistants Michel Sorin and Camille Abily. President Jean-Michel Aulas came to greet the staff and the players at the end of the session, including new signings Talaslahti, Cayman, and Silva.

OL preseason squad:
Bouhaddi, Cascarino (care), Cayman, Christiansen, Dupupet, Hegerberg, Kouache, Julini (care), Kazadi, Marozsan, Roux, Silva, Talaslahti, Weiss, Moreira (U19).
