CDM : Marozsan et Simon débutent avec un succès contre la Chine (1-0)
Both Lyon players started in Saturday's 1-0 victory over China in their Group B opener.

A few hours after France's 4-0 demolition of South Korea in Friday's Women's World Cup opener, Germany also got off to a winning, although much less impressive, start. With OL's Dzsenifer Marozsan and Carolin Simon in the Starting XI,  Die Nationalelf eked out a 1-0 victory over China thanks to a thunderous strike from Giulia Gwinn. Not a perfect start, but enough to give Germany their first three points of the tournament.
