OL in L1: Consistency at the highest level

Third place in Ligue 1 Conforama has been assured for Olympique Lyonnais for the 2018/19 season thanks to Saturday's 4-0 win over Caen in their Groupama Stadium finale. In addition to securing a spot on the L1 podium, Bruno Genesio's men have also booked a spot in next season's Champions League qualifying rounds - which could even turn into a direct ticket to the tournament group stage should Chelsea defeat Arsenal in next week's Europa League final.
Les Gones are back in Europe for the 35th time in club history and the 23rd straight season, including 18 UCL appearances. Consistency at the highest level that allows Lyon to finish on the podium for the 21st time in the French top flight: seven league titles, five-time runners-up and nine third-place finishes. It's also the 18th podium appearance in the last 21 seasons for one of French football's elite clubs.
FINAL! #OL secures 3rd place in @Ligue1_ENG and a berth in the @ChampionsLeague with a 4-0 win over @SMCaen.
